One of the oldest civilisations in the world, India is a mosaic of multicultural experiences.

With a rich heritage and myriad attractions, the country is among the most popular tourist destinations in the world. It covers an area of 3,287,263 sq. km, extending from the snow-covered Himalayan heights to the tropical rain forests of the south. As the 7th largest country in the world, India stands apart from the rest of Asia, marked off as it is by mountains and the sea, which give the country a distinct geographical entity.

Fringed by the Great Himalayas in the north, it stretches southwards and at the Tropic of Cancer, tapers off into the Indian Ocean between the Bay of Bengal on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. As you travel the expanse of the country, you are greeted by diverse nuances of cuisines, faiths, arts, crafts, music, nature, lands, tribes, history and adventure sports.

India has a mesmeric conflation of the old and the new. As the bustling old bazaars rub shoulders with swanky shopping malls, and majestic monuments accompany luxurious heritage hotels, the quintessential traveller can get the best of both worlds. Head to the mountains, enjoy a beach retreat or cruise through the golden Thar, India has options galore for all.

India’s history is filled with images of bejeweled kings, exquisite palaces and spectacular forts. There a number of Palaces converted into Deluxe 5 Star properties, in which guests can experience fist hand the super luxurious life of the by gone era.

The Global definition of luxury has been long trapped in physicality of the product, the craftsmanship, exclusivity and authenticity associated with Rolls Royce Phantom, a Hermes Scarf or a bottle of crystal champagne. India, by contrast has always been more about the process than the product, luxury in india could not be the product, luxury in india could not be purchased off the shelf, It was a way of life.
The India notion of has always been about customisation and service at home. Most of all its about 'Access' to things, to experience, to people the rest of the world does not enjoy.

Did you know, that it is the only country in the world
- To have an ocean named after it !
- With a bill of rights for cows !
- To have both tigers and lions in the wild !
- With the largest internet using population and also the largest literate population !

"India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and the great grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only."
Mark Twain
